I had to cut my tube down to fit but a simple plumbers pipe cutting tool did a good clean job. Much better than trying to clean out the ten year old tube.

Fast shipping. It is good to replace these components during replace the media for water softener although the riser tube and screen were in good condition. The plastic components especially the screen might deteriorated for long time application. My friend had an experience the screen was broken and plugged up the water system.
