The VA15LU genuine Viqua UV lamp should be replaced annually (after approximately 9,000 hours of use) to maintain the proper UV intensity needed to kill bacteria. The included CMB-510-HF sediment filter helps remove dirt, sediment, and rust before the UV chamber, while the C2-02PB carbon block filter reduces chlorine, taste, odor, and lead from your water supply.
