Our Goldline 50 Reverse Osmosis drinking water system is Certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA) and National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). These are built in the United States and feature double carbon pre filters to remove chlorine and chloramines from your drinking water. I really like the larger high flow 3/8" tubing from the manifold to the tank and then the faucet. No more waiting around to fill your cup!!
So how does the Goldine 50 Reverse Osmosis drinking water system perform?
Performance - 10/10 This Reverse Osmosis drinking water system consistently produces great tasting, super pure reverse osmosis drinking water and dispenses it super fast due to the 3/8" tubing. Goldline 50 Reverse Osmosis drinking water systems are NSF and WQA certified to ensure their consistent performance.
Capacity - 9/10 It's capacity is somewhat limited by it's tank size, although we have never had a complaint about the tank being too small. If your water has a Total Dissolved Hardness (TDS) of under 1800 ppm and there are 6 or less in your household, you will get great performance from this RO. If your TDS is above 1800, just add a booster pump and it there are more than 6 people, just add a 14 gallon RO storage tank.
Cost to Operate - 10/10 These Reverse Osmosis drinking water systems do not use any hydro and due to it’s non proprietary filters and efficient use of raw water this Goldline 50 can produce RO water for about 4 cents per gallon.
Installation - 9/10 Goldline 50's small size and separate RO tank with four easy connections makes it very easy to install for the do it your selfer. They come with excellent instructions, an installation kit and even tubing. It would be nice if they came with a John Guest style shut off for the supply line.
Maintenance - 9/10 Filter changes are easily done but would be easier with quick connect filters, but those would also be more expensive and a little more difficult to source.
Features -10/10 - This Reverse Osmosis system takes care of all functions perfectly.
Parts Availability - 10/10 Parts are readily available from the manufacturer and the distributor, but because none of the parts are proprietary, even generic replacement parts fit perfectly.
Longevity - 10/10 I have personally seen these installed in customers homes where they have been in service for over 10 years! Super Reliable!!
Reliability and Build Quality - 10/10 They consistently produce Reverse Osmosis drinking water. Being both NSF and WQA certified I expect great, long lasting performance.
Styling/Aesthetics - 9/10 Whether this is installed in the utility room in the basement, or under the kitchen sink it looks great and is very easy to keep clean. A fully enclosed manifold would make it even easier to keep clean but then that would compromise the use of non proprietary filters.
