So you have terrible water flow in you home, cottage or cabin which makes showering a pain and if you could improve it then your family would be much happier and stop complaining! But you don’t know what it could be, could it be your pump? Could it have something to do with those rusty fittings on your pressure tank like this one? A customer recently complained about this very issue! He had pretty good flow from his well water but over last year or two the water flow started slowing down more and more until it was just a trickle. He though it was a clogged filter!! But it wasn’t! We traced the problem to this fitting and when we removed it, this is what we saw! It is completely clogged with iron from the fitting rusting from the inside and since they had an iron filter with a Clack air injector before the fitting, oxidized iron has clogged it. We replaced the fitting and an elbow right after the fitting, which was also partially clogged, water flow was restored and there was peace in the home again!
