The AF-20-3232-BB Aries FilterWorks pH Neutralization Cartridge is designed with a propriety blend of Corosex® and Calcite®. The basic benefit of using Corosex® is that it dissolves much faster than Calcite®. If the initial pH is less than 6.0, Calcite® alone does not dissolve fast enough to correct pH to neutral. Blending the products, allows the pH to be corrected over a more effective range. Aries / Calcor® Cartridge specific blend helps to create a balanced product that will deliver a natural effluent without the negative impact of over correction. The cartridge controls pH, corrosion, and allows mineralization.
