Second time replacing the same parts. Less than 1/2 the cost of having a plumbing come out to replace. Less than 15 minutes to complete thanks to detailed, complete and easy to follow video by Gary on YouTube.

Cheaper than the initial service call!

The water is extremely hard where I live, a water softener is a must. After a few years, the pistons had to be changed. Thanks to the "Gary the Water Guy" Youtube channel, I was able to figure out what to do. So with the help of the original valve documentation, I ordered the rebuild kit, along with the dedicated wrench.
The wrench does require a good constant pressure when you use it, but it beats using a screwdriver and possibly breaking another part.
The parts were sent and received very quickly (I believe it was 2 days). the repair was done quickly.
In the end, thru a service call with my local water softener provider would have cost quite a bit more.
