FLOW RATES & CERTIFICATIONS
The Viqua Pro series UV is a great option, designed with professional-grade quality and NSF Class A certification. Featuring various flow rate systems like the 10gpm Pro 10 model, these options provide customized solutions for regulated sites looking for an alternative to chlorine irrigation.
Unsure which one you need? Each model has its flow rate right in their name! Choose from the Viqua Pro 10, 20, 30 or 50 UV disinfection system for 10gpm, 20gpm, 30gpm or 50gpm flow rates.

EXPERIENCE CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY
Compared to simpler models, with the Viqua PRO Series UV, you get access to cutting-edge technology! Enjoy its innovative Lightwise Technology that automatically dims your light when there's no water flow - a convenient way of optimizing performance without sacrificing convenience.
Although the lamp may seem expensive upfront, it lasts 2 years or 18,000 hours until you will need a replacement! To maintain its longevity, you’ll be cleaning this at least once per year or more often if you see the dose steadily decreasing.

PRETREATMENT OVERVIEW
Before installing a water treatment system, be sure to test your water quality first to ensure it is colourless and compatible with UV disinfection. If dealing with groundwater or surface water, make sure you've got a system to deal with cysts in the water as well.
Pretreatment detailed including Cyst and 5-micron Pre Filter.
Iron < 0.3 ppm (0.3 mg/L)
Hardness* < 7 gpg (120 mg/L)
Turbidity < 1 NTU Manganese < 0.05 ppm (0.05 mg/L)
Tannins < 0.1 ppm (0.1 mg/L)
UV Transmittance > 75%
Wondering if your water is compatible or needs further pretreatment? We can help! Water eStore offers personalized recommendations based on your water test results to help ensure your water is compatible with a UV system and/or determine if any additional pretreatment is required before UV installation. - High-performance amalgam UV lamp, reduces maintenance requirements by lasting up to 2 years replacement. Strangely enough, although the lamp will last 2 years, the warranty is only for one year.
- Small size due to Amalgam UV lamp that provides 4 x the output. About 20% smaller than competitors!
- Lamp replacement warning timer and audible lamp change reminder.
- Flow meter providing real-time UV dose based on flow and lamp output. Built-in flow restrictor.
- Cool-touch fan to reduce chamber temperature.
- Connection size 1” ¼” male to 1” female for greater flexibility during installation.
- 120W power consumption.
- Troubleshooting information is supplied by the LED indicator lights and Viqua's Troubleshooting Assistant.
- Solenoid (if installed) – damaged or inactive due to failure of another component.
- Controller - connector not installed properly, inactive due to lamp or sensor failure.
- Fan - dirty or malfunctioned, needs recalibration or is disconnected.
- Lamp - Lamp nearing end of life and requires replacement. Lamp inactive due to controller or sensor failure.
- UV sensor - below minimum UV dose, unplugged, needs service.
- Flow Meter – flow meter sensor failure.
- Plug and play electrical connections – no junction box required when connecting to solenoid.
WHAT IS LIGHTWISE TECHNOLOGY
This innovative Lightwise Technology reduces lamp power to just 50% during periods of no water flow, which reduces the power used and lowers the temperature of the water in the UV. This not only reduces energy consumption and saves you money, but also reduces the temperature inside the UV resulting in lower maintenance due to less sleeve fouling. As well, this eliminates the need for complicated mechanical sleeve cleaning systems and lower-temperature water eliminates the need for periodic hot water purging.
Since typically there is no flow for as much as 60% of the day, energy savings of 30% are typical and the rate of sleeve fouling is reduced by 60%.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS YOU'LL NEED AND WHY
- COMMcenter – This is a great option when you require a visual display of dose/data logging or dry contacts. Also supplies significantly more information about the system when used in multiple UV system applications. As an added bonus, COMMcenter shows the actual countdown days remaining! >> SHOP HERE
- Solenoid - although optional, typically a requirement for a regulated site. >> SHOP HERE
- Extra Sensor - should be kept on hand at all times.
- UV LAMP
- Quartz Sleeve – may need replacement due to fowling or damage during annual cleaning.
- Cysts and lead filter – to provide protection against both.
- Surge Suppressor – although the system has built-in replaceable fuses, a surge suppressor is still recommended to protect all of the electronics and the lamp from power surges.
If this system is used for the treatment of untreated surface waters or groundwater under the direct influence of surface water, a device found to be in conformance with cyst reduction under the appropriate NSF/ANSI Standard shall be installed upstream of the system.
VIQUA PRO SERIES WARRANTY
- 10 years on UV Chamber
- 5 years on Electrical and hardware components
- One year on lamps, sleeves and sensors.
