The Viqua filter housings appear to be good quality with nice design features however the metal bracket used to support the filter housing is way too thin and flexes under the weight of the housing once filled with water. I've seen other makes with a substantially thicker bracket. Installed two 20 inch filter housings in my residence, two in my sons and two 10 inch housings in my daughters residence. One of the 20 inch housings was a real pain to screw in once the filter was inserted causing the housing to leak at the threads. It was as if the filter was too long and wouldn't allow you to fully tighten the sump. Tried different filters and made sure there wasn't a second washer stuck. Finally after about 6 attempts it went on with no issue and no leaks. Hope this isn't something that will repeat itself with the next filter change.
