The UV lamp is the key component of your UV system as the light destroys waterborne bacteria as they pass through the UV rays to protect your family. Replacing your UV lamp on schedule ensures you get the cleanest, bacteria free water your system can produce.
This RL-470 is an authentic LUMINOR lamp and has a 9,000-hour lamp life. The UV light produced will diminish with time, so once your lamp reaches 9,000 hours (or every 375 days), it’s mandatory to replace the lamp.
